The .pando file extension is a format that lets you bypass standard file size limits that ISPs impose for sending and receiving e-mails.
Pando is a program that allows you email any size file and folder with your existing email address. It is a free program.
Pando is a P2P software that sends a smaller attachment that contains instructions for retrieving the larger files. The recipient’s Pando software takes those instructions and retrieves the files from the P2P network servers.
Typical problems associated with the .pando file extension:
One of the most common problems with .pando files is that the files are large. You can send files as big as one gigabyte over your existing e-mail account. However, your recipient’s ISP might not allow it to go through. In addition, the recipient must have the Pando software installed on their computer in order to retrieve your files.
Another common .pando problem occurs when files are infected. Pando doesn’t automatically scan for viruses.
